Teams and Shipments

This year we expect to send 24 volunteer development teams to Africa to train health care providers and provide primary care. We will also deploy 19 disaster response teams to Sudan and Uganda and respond as needed to other disasters.

We plan to ship approximately $9 million in medical supplies and equipment to Africa this year.
